We were so delighted to welcome this family into our studio recently! Brendy and I go all the way back to grade school, so when she called me recently to set up a newborn session, I was tickled pink. I hadn’t seen her since high school, so I was thrilled at the idea of reconnecting….AND meeting her incredible hubby and beautiful little bundle. It was so nice to catch up on old times – and see how she has created this wonderful life for herself. She and Josh are such an amazing team, and now they have this perfect little angel to call their own. Baby Izabella stole my heart….so this will be a pretty lengthy post! Love this family….

My heart is full of love for this family. I have photographed all three of their precious babies, as newborns and beyond. After two incredibly handsome and sweet natured boys, we now have a GIRL! Welcome to the world, baby Grace. You are just so tiny and perfect, and might I add that you are one very lucky lady. Your big brothers are going to spoil you rotten!!

THE GIFT OF LIFE….

So, on a personal note…… Manuel and I are thrilled to announce that we have been blessed with one of the greatest gifts of all. We are expecting a BABY! I cannot tell you how excited and grateful we are. After years of getting to know and love each of your little ones, I can’t believe that we’ll actually have one of our own now. For those of you that have been in over the past few months, you know what a journey it has been for me. Extreme morning sickness for nearly five months straight….ok, all day and night sickness. That said, I wouldn’t trade this experience for the world, and in many ways I believe it is preparing me for the journey that lies ahead. Thank you for all of your warm wishes and prayers! We are so grateful that God has put each of you in our lives.

So, here’s to our new little nugget that we already love so much. He or she is expected in early August, and that’s right, we’re keeping it a surprise. We won’t know the sex until his or her debut! So, guess away!!!

We love getting new families in the studio, and it’s even better when they bring their furry babies along! This shoot was more fun than I can tell you. There is clearly a lot of love in their household, and we were thrilled they came to share it with us. It got me thinking… Manuel and I really need a session like this with our little babies!

Take a look at this handsome, little nugget! Baby Francis was so good for us during our session. Once we got him to sleep, he gave us every look under the sun. Mom brought in a beautiful fabric and ottoman from Africa, and he even snuggled up on those for us. What a sweetheart! Watch out, ladies. This one will melt your heart….

Nothing makes me happier than seeing a couple truly in LOVE. Francis and Ashley have a warm, endearing relationship that is by all means infectious. We had such a nice time photographing this amazing family, and I’m glad we did it when we did. Baby Francis decided to make an appearance several weeks earlier than expected, which means we have already met this handsome, little bundle! Baby Claire… Could you be any more perfect??! This was a very special session for me. Jay is one of my brother’s closest friends, so we go all the way back to high school. I was thrilled to hear that he and his gorgeous wife were expecting and wanted to come in for a newborn session. It was such an honor to photograph Miss Claire. She is just as sweet and beautiful as can be! Love this family…..

This was probably one of the most emotional sessions I have ever done. There were lots of tears – each filled with joy. LOVE…..

Well….I cannot believe this little angel is already one! I remember photographing her older sister when SHE was just a tiny, little bundle. That was in our last studio, and we’ve had so many wonderful sessions since then. Seeing Anna and Kate now as little girls – dancing and having tea parties – just reminds me how quickly time flies and how precious each moment is. This family has truly become part of our family. We love each moment we get to spend with them! Happy Birthday, Miss Anna! You are so special to us!
